Deborah Barton is Assistant Professor of Modern German and European History at the Université de Montréal. She received her PhD in history from the University of Toronto in 2015. She has published on journalism and gender during WWII on the Eastern front and women journalist’s entanglements in Cold War politics. She is currently completing a monograph based on her doctoral dissertation, which examines the role and influence of German Women Journalists in the Nazi and Postwar Press.
